IFRS Revenue Recognition System

Following its acquisition by a publicly traded company, Kabam Games was required to comply with IFRS revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15). This required differentiating sales of virtual goods between durable and consumable for revenue reporting.

Sven led the development of the necessary systems by creating both the conceptual and logical models, as well as a prototype. He provided design requirements to the Central Technology team and supervised the solution's development. Each year, Sven was the primary contact for auditor queries regarding the system's accuracy and controls, which were accepted without issue.

The implemented system automatically classifies durable and consumable revenues, supporting precise financial reporting. It meets the annual audit requirements of both the company’s auditor and the parent company’s auditors, ensuring compliance and transparency.
